Common Problems
This error occurs when you don't have a valid game account to log in to. If you're trying to log on to the PTR, make sure you have a valid PTR account. You will also want to make sure the PTR server is running by checking the PTR forums.
If you're not trying to log on to the PTR, make sure you have a World of Warcraft game account attached to your Battle.net account by checking Battle.net Account Management.
