Common Problems
- Can you remove the cooldown so I can race change?
- Unable to transfer character, it says "Transferred Too Recently".
- Want to bypass the cooldown for a faction change.
Certain character services trigger a cooldown preventing additional services for that character.
Free migrations are not subject to this limitation and do not trigger a cooldown. Cooldown periods cannot be bypassed by Customer Service.
Modern WoW
Most character service cooldowns are 72 hours, during which time you cannot perform another service of the same kind. However, if a character is transferred to another account, that character will not able to perform a Paid Character Transfer for 30 days.
After using a Character Boost service, the character will be unable to Transfer realms, Faction, or Race Change within the 72 hour cooldown period.
WoW Classic
A character can only use a Paid Character Transfer service once every 90 days.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Paid Character Transfer, Faction Change, and Race Change cooldowns are 30 days, during which time you cannot perform another service of the same kind. In addition, you cannot perform a Faction Change or Race Changes within 30 days of each other.
After using a Character Boost, the character will be unable to Transfer realms or Faction Change within 72 hours.
